Has anyone thought of homeowners insurance, or trying to rent an apartment with a pit? Esp. because you have other dogs, if one of the other does somthing stupid, the pit could take the fall, and you can be sued. I would never put one ...

Honestly I didn't know Ivermectin treated external parisites. I would keeping checking with your vet. If nothing else try another vet for a second opinion. If they are not finding any mites or proof of mange, you might want to look into allergies....
