I know i reccomend these all the time but they work. You can turn to puppy pads.

Puppy pads work well with house trainig. All you have to do is set a puppy pad in a place and get the dog to use the bathroom on it for a couple of days and then start moving it closer and closer to outside everyday and eventually have it out side an...

See thats the thing. I really dont know if letting him run free is the right thing to do but i only do it maybe once a month. I walk him all the time but my mom fusses at my because i wont let him run free. I'm just confused.

around here in the country we let our dogs run free and no one cares. Most of our dogs here are outside dogs running free anyways.

Thanks I'll try that if i figure out a place to do that. I'd rather do it myself though.
