Thanks Frosty....So far that is what I do, but if I leave it loose, then she chews on it...I can't win.... Anyother suggestions? Should I be conserned about the coughing and the funny honking noise at night if it is only once in a while?

My Bichon, Chloe' has been coughing after drinking water not all the time but at least once per day. Sounds like she has something stuck in her throat. About once a week, at night say around 1-2 am, she makes this really strange noise in her crate....

Yes it does get easier. I actually took my pup out every two hours day and night for the first few weeks. Just keep doing what your doing. It is just a little baby right now. Think about what you would go through with a newborn, and their growing...

How about a good pair of ear plugs? I use them every night. It might helps some. I wish you alot of luck finding homes, quickly!!
