we did #2 for our dog, lol.The lawn is now intact! it took him a bit of time to get used to the sand pit, but after seeing us "dig" in it, he got the idea and is always in it!

Do you have a crate for him? if not, definately invest in one! I dont know where I would be without one for Bailey! They help with the toilet training and its a good place to put them if you cant keep your eye on them at the time.
