The one thing I do not like is the mob mentality of pit bull activists that slam small towns trying to decide what to do about the pit bull problem. As soon as a town grapples with the issue, they get spammed by 10,000 out of towners copying and past...

They banned ferrets in California-- an entire SPECIES!

The only thing I would say is that a lot of people are applying human rationale and emotions to a dog. "Why would the dog do that?" they wonder. They don't reason like we do. *Again, PLEASE remember, there are minors on this forum.

I also want to mention I don't think the breed of dog had a thing in the world to do with what happened. It could have been any type of dog. Well, any type of larger dog.

I finally broke down and got a Furminator for my malamute, Kuma, after trying it out at the pet store. It was $60.00, a bit pricy, but well worth it. Kuma looks great! He also likes getting brushed now because the Furminator doesn't pull on his coat ...

What it comes down to is a complete stranger is asking you for money in return for something you have no guarentee you'll ever see.

Now, most of the Internet works like this, but usually it's YOU who sought out the stranger, not the other...
