Thanks everyone! They're both such sweethearts. Laredo is the perfect Dane! And Dakota is the perfect mutt! :)

Laredo is a 5 month old harlequin Great Dane, and Dakota is a 2-1/2 year old Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix.

Ignore her! She'll be perfectly fine in her crate. Get some "special" toys that she only gets in her crate. Like, a kong filled with peanut butter, or a nylabone that she ONLY gets when in her crate.

If she's a new pup, maybe a towel that the mother has been on would help. It would be a scent from "home". Could you get your breeder to rub down the pup's mother with a towel? That might help, along with what siennalovesmax posted.
