This is not exactly on topic but I was curious. Are pitbulls supposed to have their ears cropped as well? I have seen them either way and am just curious.

Newfies are excellent. That was actually the breed of dog we were going to get, but since we all live together it was a family decision. My mom can not handle dog drool. Newfs are notorious for their drool. Maybe in a few years I can convince her...

Our cat had feline leukemia also. We had to put him to sleep about 8 years ago. I remember when things started to decline for him, I don't recall seeing blood in his stool. Hopefully that is not the problem and everything will be okay.
