redyre, excellent advice. Sophie is a year and still stays in her crate at night, for her own safty. We have a toy box too. She knows those things in her toybox are hers.

I checked your page at dogster, Sophie and I invited your Maddie to be our pal earlier over the weekend. I loved your story and bless you for rescuing her. All of your dogs are precious.

I have to laugh, I also am always picking things out of my dogs hair. (Havanese) We get a puppy cut now, gave up on the long hair. Crate training is great as long as it's not over used. Sophie is in hers at night so I know she isn't into something...
