If you bought it from a Petstore, the puppies come from petstores and are notoriously hard to potty train. They usually end up having some behavioral problems as well and take A LOT more work. Goodluck..

I have a yorkie and two Himalayan cats. Most dogs LOVE cat poop and will try to raid the litter box. My dog was really bad about this when she was younger. Having a covered litter box help and cleaning it out 2-3 times a day to keep it clean helps...

I know of someone that bought a yorkie puppy with an umbilical hernia. The breeder told the buyer about the hernia and took $150 off of the price to pay for the hernia to be repaired. The puppy's hernia was fixed when it was spayed.

It's important to brush a dog's teeth just like it is to brush our own teeth. Chewing things helps but only to a point. I brush my yorkie's teeth at least once a week, sometimes more. She's on a raw diet so doesn't have a tendancy for tarter to buil...
