This site discussesreverse sneezing. My 2 year old maltipoo has this and it is quiet scary. I have tried covering his nostrils and it sometimes lessens the time the "attack" lasts.

My 21 month old puppy has reversed sneezing. He had an episode last night and I tried the pinching of the nostrils and it worked wonders. The "attack" seem to stop as I started to pinch the nostril. Thanks for the tip.

My dog does the same. The vet says he has grass and dead leaf allergies. Try the Itch Stick from Petkin (sold in Walmart or on the Petkin website). The Itch Stick does wonders for Toby.
