My 10-month old Maltipoo's skin is gradually turning from pink to a gray color. There is no hair loss, no evidence of skin disease, no behavioral changes. Is this something I should be worried about? Thanks for your feedback.

If it is a muscle/ligament tear, what is the treatment and how long does it take for total healing?

Yes, the vet checked for luxating patella and Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease. I specifically asked him to check these which he did because he also considered these as possibilities, but neither problem was evident.
