We celebrated Christmas a few days early because our kids were going out of town and would not be here on Christmas Day.

Her daytime sleep is in intervals. She sleeps through the night for 8 hours. She walks & plays for 1-1/2 to 2 hour intervals. Then in between she goes to her room for 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 hours at a time...again in intervals.

Everything I have read says that a puppy needs approximately 18 hours sleep per day and that the average adult sleeps about 16 hours/day.
Based upon this, I assume that 17 hours/day is appropriate for my puppy.
