I've also read that some people sprinkle Gold Bond Powder on the hot spot. Does this work? Is it as effective as the Athletes Foot Spray?

I didn't think Arizona had a humidity problem. We visited Phoenix a few years ago in the summer. It was very, very hot, but since the humidity was low, it felt like we were in a sauna!

Hey, thanks for the idea about neck coolers. I found a product called Cool-It Bandanna at the web site below. After much internet research and price comparisons, they appear to have the best prices. I ordered one for my little girl today.

The temperatures have been in the low-mid 90s, but with the humidity combined, the "real feel" is often over 100 degrees! Whew, too hot!
