Thank you. That really cleared a lot for me. We live in Tennessee. When do mares come into their first heat? We have a fairly young mare, who is the daughter of the other mare previously mentioned.

I was wondering, how often horses go into heat? We have a mare that is moody. She is not acting like her sweet self. She had a miscarriage with her last pregnancy.

I had been told that this is a phase that some dogs go through. He is now starting to get straighter legs. Does anyone know what could have caused his legs to bow?

When we got to look at the litter, it did not seem that the pups had it. But after having him a bit, I started to notice them.

It is just his front legs. He came from a litter of 8, I believe. And I have no idea what the dam had to eat. All I know, is that it was just dry food. No moist or homemade meals!
