On the other hand it could possibly be some person who needs to re-home their puppy for some reason. Don't automatically jump to conclusions that it has to be a puppy mill because it is a mixed breed puppy or because they are charging a small fee....

If they use the AKC.org to keep track of their litter records then yes they can tell how you registered the dog, whether or not it is Full or Limited Registration. They can tell what you named them and what the registration is.
