Thanks - we had an abuse case in TN where we generated over 6000 calls, emails & letters. We also had a friendly prosecuter. but everyone expressing their outrage helped immensely.

Pawsies crossed that it works out on Monday!! Please remember that even if your kids and dogs are normally well behaved that they do need supervision and training about how to interact with each other.

Dogs need to be both mentally and physically stimualted. A bored dog often becomes a desctructive dog, which isn't good for anyone.

I've flown several dogs with no problem. Continental is my preferred choice, but airlines are more pet-freindly than they used to be.
You could also do a search on dog transporters. There are many companies that drive dogs around the country.

I don't have advice on a specific breed but please remember that young children need to be supervised around animals. Even the most gentle of dogs can get nasty is they are tormented.
