I'd not only wait til the took me to court, but I'd file a report with your state vet association. Your dog could've died and others are at risk. I know you like your vet - but what happened was beyond wrong.

With shelters I suggest you keep calling. Often you just get vm and who knows when someone has time to listen to the messages and return calls. Many shelters only have one person to do everything. For rescues, be a little more lenient! ...
