My heart goes out to you hon, at the least, try your local shelters, they maybe able to direct you to someone who can help you and a lot of vets do pro bono work.

Asked my vet last year since my rescue eats them if I drop one. He said don't worry.

Rocky eats tomatoes, asparagus, white and sweet potatoes, mushrooms, brussels sprounts, apples, pears, etc.
