When I first started housebreaking my puppy, I came across an ad for a patch of grass you can keep in a shallow box indoors, and the dog eliminates on it.

I'm working on housebreaking him in the traditional method right now, but I've al...

i've read somewhere about spraying the pup's tongue with binaca as it goes to bite; they don't like the taste. you can also maybe try spraying bitter apple on your hands and feet and see out that works

Not for an 8 week old puppy* (they can only hold their bladder for so long in the crate, and then they'll make a mess IN the crate, defeating the purpose of crate training). Having a puppy, as cute as they are, is a round the clock job. But of cour...

Yes, he is! He's a red Shiba Inu; we thought he'd turn out to be a red sesame when we first got him because his fur had black mixed in.. but his coat is turning out to be a beautiful red color! He has a "cow" tummy idk why.. but it's cute!

Cost is not really an issue.

Thanks for all your help though, I ...

I was wondering if there are any other ocd dog lovers like me- the ones who love the dogs but hate all the loose fur? I like keeping a non-furry house, so I'm constantly trying to figure out ways to minimize fur accumulation.

My dog's a...

In regard to the story of the drowned cat, I don't think anyone can really say woulda coulda shoulda.

What did you expect the poor woman to do, take an axe and chop it's head off? "Find out how" to snap it's neck? C'mon now. I don't know...

I have a crate; I don't know about "denning instinct" but he'll stay put in the crate after a little squirming.

I don't know; I guess crate training is what I should do. I don't see how much more of an effort it would take.
