I have a 9 year old Boston that does this. Got her at 8 weeks and the mother was still with her at that time but weaned the pups on her own.....It just happens and it is soothing.

Hi nightngale, young pups are vulnerable...no matter how many shots. Remember, NOTHING is 100%. The mother titer could have cancelled out the first shots.

Something is WRONG with your puppy! She could have gotten hurt-mom stepped on her, she was dropped...anything. For a 4 week old pup not able to return to its littermates so beyond strange. Its not like it is biased against its family. It must be sick...
