I agree with ravennr...because your dogs are greatly built and beautiful, doesn't mean they are of breeding quality..it takes alot more to be a responsible breeder...

Not to mention, there are too many pits without homes out there..instead...

Why is she planning to breed? Doesn't even seem like she knows much about breeding if she's worried about the dog's heat cycles.

You should give her this information - tell her that this is what it means to be a responsible breeder, and if...

Why did this happen? Seems like some serious complications. I do hope you get the female spayed after this. It wouldn't be fair or responsible to try to go through this ordeal again. Hope you find good homes for the pups.

I used to feed raw..and still do occassionally..but for a student that lives in an apartment and has no freezer space for bulk, its very inpracticle (sp?)...

I do manage to buy premade raw occassionally when I have a little more cash on me...
