i'd point it out to the vet next time. But danes are prone to fatty tumors. Could it be one?

If they don't use the heartstick method what other ways would they do it? And would it be easier on the animal? What would be the advantage for the facility to use the heartstick method? Is it only because it is cheaper?

I work in the medical field sure sounds like a cover up to me! I agree take pictures and document. and get another vets opinion. I also would dispute charges on surgery if it was not performed right.
