Have the people that are being barked at offer a treat. Over and over. Something very tiny, that he likes. No need to get him fat. Jack Russels are smart dogs that need alot of excersize too, so maybe a good walk each day, or run for that matter.

We had a young dog in our rescue tear his cruciate. Had to wait till he was grown to do the surgery. Six weeks of rest, and he was good to go. He is doing well now. Your westie still has a good amount of living to do, so he may as well do it feeling...

It may be too late to wash off, but if that is the only differant thing done, must be it. Try washing any residue off. Thats what I have read to do,when you think its the topical. We have used advantage for over 8 years no problems.
