Ripley is on Hill's K/D diet. I discussed my concerns about the diet with my veterinarian. She is actually well versed in dog foods and actually recommends a raw diet to people. She admitted that Science Diet is crap food however they put a lot of...

Ripley has reduced kidney function and is now on a prescription diet for it. They don't "recover" from this disease however you can slow it through diet. You need to watch the protein in all food and treats your dog gets.

You guys are lucky. I have a piggy dog, Ripley, that would be as big as a house if I free fed. Spencer the setter would be skin and bones.... I dunno...unless you can catch him in the act I'm afraid you don't stand a chance..lol
