LOL! My only qualms over my pup's pedigree was in the fact (as most of you already know) that I have not shown either sire or dam. HOWEVER, their combined 6 generation pedigree have 149 champions, 4 of the most recognized Pyr bloodlines, the 2 all ...

I'm allergic to the stings as well..try living in a citrus area where they have hives everywhere you look to polinate the trees! Heck, the high where I'm emploed is surrounded by groves and, you've got it~ hives! There are days when we can walk out...

On setting the prices for your litter, Langniappe brough up another very good point...what price range are the breed clubs setting for that particular breed? I know that Pyrs can be found from about $250.00 to $3,000.00 a WIDE range to say the leas...

Melissa, I agree with you 100%. I invested in a computerized Breeder's program to make sure eveything required by the AKC was recorded in a secure form as well as hard copies of all the information. All the records are safely stored in one place in...

Count, if you mean me, nope. My breeding pair's pedigree, which is registered with the AKC (as were the pups) was important in determing the value of the pup's heritage and bloodlines. Each pup was "judged" on quality individually. I can trace...

Then there are cases I've heard of over the years where someone stops breathing or has heart faliure in the middle of the night, not waking a spouse sleeping in the same bed, but the pet awakens out of a sound sleep to give alarm. What wakes them, b...

My litter was registered with the AKC within an hour of birth (which can now be done on-line). I've never had any problems registering my dogs or pups with AKC, so I'm not sure what problems folks are having.
