My 2 cents would be that the trainer should NOT be advising any form of medication, that should be up to you and your vet to decide. I'm with the rest on giving it time to get her socialized.

my vet had me start the pups at 6 weeks, but they are a large breed and quite a few of the meds (most) go by weight.

I dunno' seems to me that you keep mentioning "color" as a pre-requsite for pure bred breeders as the highest concern or at least one of the utmost concerns. I would say that the same rule would follow for any breeder/show or performance...color...

Try CCI, they provide the dogs from their own breeding "stock" and train them as well. http://www.caninecompanions.org/
