You might need to take take your hen to the vet. Or you can check some websites. It might be hes just molting though.

thats so sad ! and did you really raise the bird yourself? I am raising a sparrow egg that was abandoned so far its going well. Again, im so sorry to hear that.

I learned a bit from this site and i want to tell you that first you can keep sparrow eggs at 50 to 60'f untill you want to hatch them because keeping them at that tempeture will stop the growing of the baby bird untill you get it warm again. Next yo...
