I am fairley certain it is the same for all dogs although some can cycle closer together than every 6 months. I have never owned a English BD before so I can't say for certain but pretty darn sure ;)

Like JKK said, It's probably staff. Especially if the pups have just recently had shots or play in water with out being properly towled off afterwards. If you go back look at the bumps closly and see if it is dry skin and some can be scabby as well. ...
