Don't worry about your current furkid 'regressing'. Make sure if you do make the addition..that you still pay tons of attention to the cocker and make him feel special..maybe in the beginning taking him for a few long walks just the two of you, etc. ...

Congrats on the new puppy! One thing I haven't heard you mention is WHERE you feed him? I highly recommend feeding him inside the crate. Not closing the door..just put it in the far corner so he has to go all the way in to get it. You need...

Have you had her kindey levels looked at? Lots of thirst is a symptom of kidney disease. You said you had a urinalisys which would tell them the specific gravity of the urine, depending on how they got the urine in the first place (free catch, cysto)...
