I agree with the previous posts, that is too long for the pup to be alone. If possible have someone come by every 2-3 hours for potty and play time. If that is not possible, an older dog would be better for you.

I heard about that also! What a shame. Luckily I feed my cats Claifornia Natural. They are also indoor, and one has long hair, and I have not had any hairballs in the two years that I have been feeding it to them.
