I agree, adopting a mixed breed is a great idea. Since you seem to have an affinity for retrievers, I would suggest another Golden or Chessie, or even a Lab. Most shelters have plent of Labs and Lab mixes to choose from.

LMAO at the title of this thread! I can't wait to see pics, Tzus are some of the cutest pups ever. I really like them and would love to have one some day. They are small w/o being fragile and they are supposed to be sweet and friendly.

Couldn't agree more NMbassetlover. This is why buying from a reputable breeder (who cares about temperment), training, socialization and using common sense are so important. If that had been done here, a baby would still be alive.
