We will be getting another yorkie in about 3 wks. I have never had a male before and the breeder suggested bellybands until he was nuetred. She said it would keep him from hiking his leg but to have him fixed as soon as possible.

It almost sounds like a disc problem. I would take her to another vet. It never hurts to get second opionions and I would try to do everything I could for her and putting her down would be a last resort.

After the problem we had with Frontline I will never put chemicals on my babies again. I just ordered some coconut oil from Garden of Life. It is all natural and a high quality oil. Not like the stuff you get at Walmart. It is good for some many thin...

I am so sorry about your baby. If the woman already knew it was Parvo then the vet must have known. I can't believe receptionists would let someone like that come right into the main waiting room. How stupid on their part and that owners. A few years...

Whatever breed you decide on I would think about bringing a yorkie in where there are small children. They think they are soooo big, but they are pretty fragile. Besides our yorkie we have 2 schnauzers. They do not shed and love children. They are h...

We keep our bedroom pretty cool at nite. Even our little yorkie doesns't seem to get cold. I would put a sweater on Jimmy if you think he is too cold but they also shake when they are in pain. Good idea to get him check out.

I can't see what a little cheese would hurt but our little muchkin likes baby carrots. You don't want a yorkie to gain too much weight and ours is already a little fatty. I have to stay on my husband all the time not to give them too much. Kayla also...

I would take him to the vet asap too, but, he is so young. They have to eat very often and it sounds like his little tummy has been empty too long. I feed mine when they are little about every 3 or 4 hrs. and right before bedtime. Kayla (yorkie) was ...
