I agree pup needs to see a vet regardless of where the blood is coming from. Way too many reasons this could be happening.

Eric, correct info on not trying to move her to eat. Put her food right by the whelping box, not necessarily inside as you never know if a mommy is going to get upset if a pup scoots by the bowl, but right outside where she can get to it. Same with ...

"problem".. no way!!! He just needs more exercise and some obedience classes. He's alpha over you and you need to reverse that and take control. Tucker him out with good play and make him pay attention.

Truepits, great point. Pups play so very hard and at times they make these growling noises with each other that sounds horrible and yet they are really sincerely playing hard. Granted that's when I separate and time them out LOL.. but i know exactl...

I understand the problem however can you tell me specifically what the injury is? You are going to read a lot on the net but the truth is unfortunately many of these injuries do need surgical repair. Did you see an orthopedic?
