The lumps could be fat tumors called lipomas. They in themselves are not life threatening...However something else is going on here. If the dog cannot eliminate, that would be some sort of blockage due to either a tumor, or constipated beyond normal....

I usually start the count at the first tie, but my bitches are very predictable... I would estimate the middle of the breeding cycle and start your date from there. and BTW cords do bleed, if tied off sufficiently, there should be no blood loss...sha...

Ok don't want to steal thunder here, but please use dental floss and somewhat sharp scissors for your cords (but you shouldn't need to do this..but just in case).and I don't know if I'd advise moving the pups away from her, this might add to her anxi...

Yes if the pups are growing, quiet, not screaming all the time and take alot of naps, they're getting plenty of mom time. LOL puppies will not go hungry without noisy protest
