Used to breed 'em. Great dogs but yep..they LOVE to run.I did try to keep mine in an apt. after my divorce, but it didn't work out. Aggressive? no just protective.

I am a Dobe handler/ breeder. I give the ear choice to my clients, but if they want a crop I absolutely do that for them It is a breeders job. The ears after healing can be taped for a pit, but I post my Dobes with empty tampon tubes as air can go ...

Check out a dog show and find a little guy you like and ask that handler about it. Go to UKC or ACK websites for shows in your area. Go to the park,ditto. People love to talk about their dogs!
