I ended up not altering the schedule...we just worked it out.....my son had a b-day party and I couldn't manage it ...I was blessed that the downpours worked around their time to go out...it's funny though because I can tell a reluctancy to go even...

Would it be okay to alter my dogs feeding schedule just because I know it's going to rain this evening?....does that sound crazy?...I know I'm going to have a hard time getting them to potty in the rain (oooh scary water falling from the sky!!!)so ...

I have a different take on this. When I have gotten a new dog, I find that it takes me awhile to adjust to the new responsibilities. Re-homing goes through my mind because I worry if I'm a good mommy. It takes me awhile to get used them and them...

I'm a scrapbooker and most of the usernames on those sights are scrapbook related...i really didn't give it a lot of thought...duh...or it would have been more dog related...

Everyone is so nice to share their stories...it is very inspiring..I, like some of you, believe that there is more to living than what is visible here on earth...this gives me hope...tomorrow-Feb 1st will be a year since my brothers death-cancer......

Michelle, our pups often still go every 2 hrs (but remember I've spoiled them)....Hannah, Cockerlover gave me some advice when I asked about the expanding the every two hrs and said to just try and extend a little at a time and add a 1/2 hr to it.....

Trance, no I don't know everything our kids are doing, but they're not left alone with the puppies...Michelle, the pups are always excited to see the kids and run to greet them, but they don't follow them around like they do me..they will play fetc...

Sue, thank YOU....and no they wouldn't growl at me...your advice makes sense and I do think there are some ways the kids could show some control without it being physical...
