You may want to start your own thread with your wheezing question-- this one was started in 2008 so it doesn't look like the OP is going to update. If you think something is stuck in your cat's throat you should take him to the vet immediately...

Assuming that Jimmy and the cat like each other, I don't think it's a bad idea to take him in. But first, definitely check nearby homes and even businesses to make sure that he doesn't belong to someone. Stray or feral cats tend to be shy and skittis...
