i heared from a vet that if you do give your dog any raw meat then you should put it in the freezer first to kill any of the bacteria that may be on it.

i had a dog who had problems with her skin and hair and she improved so much when we switched her to royal canin. or you can try looking for recipes for dog food and making it for her, that way there are no presevatives.
