There are medications that your veterinarian can prescribe for separation anxiety. However, you may want to look into doggie daycare - if you can find the right daycare - you may not need to medicate them. Good luck!

The main thing to consider in my opinion, is she having more good days, or more bad days. If she is just a little stiff in the morning & evenings - but is happy during the day - she may be okay; if she is painful all day ...

The low/non-shedding dogs if I can remember them all are: Poodle, Shih Tzu, Lhasa Apso

It also depends on when your male is doing this. If it is twice a year (like a heat cycle) - there may be an overy left inside. If it is all the time, then it is a dominence issue. Good luck!
