rawhides are dangerous for any dog. they can splinter & perforate the intestine or stomach, often coagulate & cause blockages & many are processed using lead & arsnic, & yes have been known to cause salmonella poisoning

I've known pits to clear 6' privacy fences.

the pepper spray inside the house would be an irritant to the people in the house & that is probably why he said don't take her inside.

you are correct that you are causing it by what you say, or more correctly how you say it. just say nothing at all. get his leash, hook him up & go outside

you should have had her spayed at 5 months. she really needs to go to the vet for this. she could have a blockage starting.

does she eat fast? she should be getting two meals a day.
what are you feeding?

you should be giving a probiotic to help the good bacteria survive. Yogurt, activia or something like that is good
