Oh boy did I just mess up !! One of my dogs has always had "issues" with bones. Meaning that she thinks all bones should belong to her. Years ago, I worked hard and long with a trainer, who told me at the time to never, ever have bones in my house...

boxergurl -- there is no 'clean-cut' answer to your question. Every single dog is different. The best way to find out is...when you do get one, have your vet x-ray her pelvis. Your vet will be able to tell you if she is likely to need a c-section. ...

I can not find any information about a Pedigree recall in Vermont...or anywhere in the US or Canada. Not saying that there isin't one...but I checked with a food recall website and the only official recall on Pedigree they have is out of their plant...

Something else to consider is shipping cost. I would think that would push the price right back up there. I have had dogs shipped to me here in US and it is usually 250 - 300. PLUS the vet health certificate ($50.) Shipping a dog is tricky busines...

My sister had a tiny tiny Pom, that jumped off the sofa, and was injured for LIFE. The poor dog limped for the next 5 years. She eventually had to have him pts because he was in so much pain when he got older.
