I dont have mice, I have too many stray cats that have decided to make my barn and property home. I hate to say it but I have a cat problem that I never ever asked for. But it also takes care of a mouse problem, I dont know which is worse.

They have snap traps out now that have like a little hood over it that would make it a little harder for a cat to get into the snap part of it and when it catches a mouse you just open it up like a chip clip and it lets loose of it and you never have...

Some people just need to research the different breeds all together. Some breeds have health problems when they are white some dont. Ex. Great Danes,
