Also could be a reaction to a vaccine. One of my dog has a reaction everytime and it is a lump like that. It will go away in a few weeks if that is what it is.

LOL, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to prevent accidents. They are never left together or able to get to each other when she is in heat. NO MATTER WHAT!

I for one am extrememly proud of all the clearances I put on my dogs before breeding them. As a HOBBY breeder, it gives me more peace of mind that I am putting healthier puppies ...

I also chip all of my pups bfore they go to their new homes. It is not an option for my pups. They all get chipped.

I agree. I think there is so much emphasis put on show type that most dogs can not even perform the taks that they wre originally bred for. We take our Goldens pheasant hunting. They love it! That kind of thing is what they were originally bred for. ...

The point I am trying to make is that the standard for field bred and show/conformation bred are somewhat different. The majority of my puppies are sold as pets, yes, but that doesnt mean they couldnt compete in field trials if they were trained to d...

Pen, They are bred to work in the field flushing birds. They are larger (taller & longer), they have shorter coats (for the field), they can be higher strung (mine are not, they are very mellow tempered).
