I also OFA Thyroid test my Goldens. When I learned that Thyroid problems run in Goldens, I started testing for that as well as all of the other tests. Thyroid problems do not run in alot of other breeds though.

From what I understand, the AKC does not recognize PennHip results, only OFA. I use OFA for that reason.

With my dogs, I have seen their temp drop that low and then rise again up to a week before they whelp. Mine usually stay low once the are going into labor.

I agree with you Patch. kdubbs27 $250.00 for what???? It cost me $15 for both the AKC Canine Good Citizen and the TDI Therapy Dogs evaluations and then $5 to register the AKC CGC and $35 to register the TDI paperwork. So a total of $55 for both tests...
