Also, I know the AKC has some kind of insurance plan, if your dog is registered with them you get a discount. I don't know much more about it you'd have to check out akc.org to find out more.

I find it very odd... to have "pets" and to have "breeding dogs". The breeder I got Riley from has about 10-12 dogs and they are ALL family pets. They live on 10 acres of land so they mostly stay outside but are welcome to come in at any time.

I have Advantix, that covers fleas ticks mosquitos... does Frontline cover mosquitos as well? Or just fleas and ticks? I've heard better things about Frontline but I want my dog protected from all 3.

I don't know what my vet charges because I've always gone through friends of animals for their certiticates.

My cats slept in Riley's crate before I got him. I had to give his mat a good wash before he came home and I put a big t-shirt of mine in there. He still likes my clothes in there when I have to leave him to go to work.
