My husband wants to get our puppy to stop barking at every little movement in the house. He wants to train him with a bark collar. Are they safe? Do they work? Are there other alternatives?

Since Tucker is a golden retriever, and that breed is prone to dysplasia, should I wait longer to neuter him?

Both my dogs love apples. I know that they aren't a vegtable, but I have an apple tree and I catch them constantly chowing down on them as they hit the ground. The vet thinks that this is perfectly healthy.

lostjack... If i knew how to post it on the web, I would gladly post Tucker on Riley (its a funny sight.) Anyway, Tucker gets too aroused (very often) and his stuff will stay out for a long time (hurting him) Neutering him will prevent this right?...

They say that a side effect in male dogs in being neutering them earlier is that they wont learn to lift their leg? Is this a big deal? Will it hurt him if he doesn't learn?

Unfortunately it is a felony to touch or verbally assult a mail carrier (believe me, I've thought about it)
