When I bathe my dogs, I check to see if they need to be expressed. I wouldn't want poop on my clothes or furniture. If I were you, I would express them while giving a bath just to make sure. If nothing comes out then you are safe.

I am not here to talk badly about rescues. I think rescue people are wonderful. Rescuers love dogs very much. It takes time, money, and lots of effort to be a rescuer. I just think that some people take it a little too far and lose reason.
