You are referring to line-breeding which is acceptable. Just keep in mind that this is done to "enhance" good qualities, temperments etc. but it can also enhance the bad qualities of a dog. Usually used when a ch.male is line bred with a ch. fami...

I have used ovaban with no problems. My female has had puppies since being on ovaban and the only difference was that she had a smaller litter 5 puppies instead of her usual 8 puppies. All were very healthy and so is she. So no problems here..
