Scruff's doing good. He had a battle with lyme disease last summer but he's back to normal now. I'll never let his Frontline Plus run out again!

I just looked through his paperwork and saw that his next rabies vaccination isn't due until 2008, so apparently he had the three year vaccination. I scrubbed him up real good and don't see any marks, so hopefully it wasn't his blood. I'l...

Can they only get it from a bite? Now that I look at him really good, I don't see any cuts. I'm thinking that it might have been the groundhog's blood and not his, but I haven't heard of it being transmitted through blood.

Hopefully he'll be alright then. I know if people are bitten by a rabid animal you can get shots to prevent it. I live in town so hopefully it doesn't have anything.

Well, I'm pretty sure he's been vaccinated twice, once as a pup and once at a year old I think. He's now 3, and he just got bitten by a ground hog. He chased it towards the shed and then it turned around and attacked. He doesn't have any...

Ah, I just noticed that the plan also covers heartworm and flea control. I just spent $150 bucks on heartguard and frontline plus...that stuff is expesnive.

Well, in the two years since I've had Scruff we've had at least $1000 in vet bills. Now that he has Lyme Disease I find out that he may need surgery on both legs, costing $1,200 per leg. I think it would be a good idea to get him insured to cover...
