I think I discovered the problem: cats. I found out that three large cats are living under my back porch, and I saw Scruff chasing them out of the yard the other day. He also comes back in smelling like cat urine from time to time. If I can on...

Thanks for the advice...I'll make him an appointment for next week. I didn't realize he was old enough to respond to a dog in heat; luckily he doesn't wander. Maybe I'll get him fixed during his next visit.

He's not fixed yet and I don't crate him. He just does it when he's walking around the house, and sometimes on the sofa while we're watching TV. He doesn't seem to be in any pain because he plays hard, but I guess that could be deceiving. I al...

For the past couple weeks my 6 month old mini schnauzer has been whining all the time. It's a real high-pitched whine, so high that it's sometimes hard to hear. Is this normal for a dog his age? It's almost like he can't get enough attention...i...

Boy, lots of good advice. My parents did have problems with their male chihuahua lifting his leg in the house...he ruined a $2000 pool table and would also mark on the back porch. He usually did it when no one was around. He never left the yard ...

I should wait until he's at least 8 months? It seems like he'd be lifting his leg by then. Apparently it does have benefits. Being raised around "intact" dogs, it just seems strange to me...like it'll change him or something. I don't know if I ...

I have no reason to be "ashamed" of myself, and I am a 'CARING' guardian...otherwise I wouldn't come here and ask questions. My family has never had a neutered dog, and they've always been happy and healthy. You being a female, I don't expect you...

My step father's the same way with their Akita. He told my mother, "He's not losing them!" Luckily my mini schnauzer is too small to mount the big dogs here in town, but I guess it would be good to keep him from wandering. As of now he's never l...

Mine is the location of the rebel base that was almost destroyed in Star Wars. Eh, it's easy to remember anyway.
